This page explains how to set up your email client (e.g. Outlook, Apple Mail etc.).
You should use IMAP (rather than POP), for incoming mail.
With IMAP, a copy of every email remains on the server but it gets synchronised to every computer or other device you use. If you delete an email, it's deleted from both your device and from the server.
You can make sub-folders, so as to archive your email. Again IMAP keeps these in sync between local device and server.
You should configure IMAP settings as follows:
Incoming IMAP server host name: | mail.tribalsystems.uk |
Username: | your email address |
Password: | your password |
Port: | 993 |
Security setting: | "Use TLS/SSL" must be on |
Authentication: | Password |
You can set up accounts, and change the password of an account, on the Configure your email page.
You'll need to do a similar configuration in order to send email via the Tribal mail server.
You should configure your SMTP settings as follows:
Outgoing SMTP server host name: | mail.tribalsystems.uk |
Username: | your email address |
Password: | your password |
Port: | 465 |
Security setting: | "Use TLS/SSL" must be on |
Authentication: | Password |
Webmail is available at https://mail.tribalsystems.uk/roundcube.
You will need to enter your email address and password to access it.
We filter incoming email for spam and viruses.
There are no user-modifiable settings for this system.
