We've recently launched a new site for a long-standing customer, the International Camellia Society.
We've done a redesign to their website to achieve a better user experience and to support content in multiple languages. The site now supports English, German, Spanish, French, Mandarin, Japanese and Portuguese.
For the redesign we went for a clearer and more logical home page. The home page had a lot of text and CTAs that were replaced by a grid with the main site sections represented by attractive flower photographs.
The top navigation was simplified to include a handful of clear links.
The site tries to serve the site in the language of the visitor, though there is a language picker to let the user choose their language manually.
